| It takes a community of talented individuals to create effective visual communications. The people at C&K Designs are from many backgrounds and have a variety of talents and skills. One of us is from rural Nebraska and one of us grew up in suburban Kansas City. There's no accounting for the fact that our we work well together and enjoy each other's diversity. One of us has a Masters Degree in Nutrition and one has a degree in Studio Art. Our diversity and a passion for creative communications magnify our strengths.
, Art Director/Owner
Chris has over nine years of experience as a graphic designer and art director. He graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, with a Bachelor of Science in Studio Art. He recieved the majority of his education from Northwest Missouri State University's BFA program from 1990 to 1993 with an emphasis in graphic design and marketing. From 1993 to 1995 he worked as Graphic Designer for CC Designs & Illustrations. From October 1995 to March 1996 he worked as a contract multimedia artist with Informix Software designing interactive sales tools and presentations. he was the Multimedia Director of a telecomm company in Largo, Florida in 1997. Chris then went to work in the Corporate Communications HQ of TECO Energy. There, he directed and produced corporate websites, print, multimedia, kiosks and Intranet sites. In 1999, Chris became the Marketing Manager (AKA Creative Director) of Vingage Corporation where he lead a team of creatives that produced the corporate identity, sales tools and marketing for the company. Our peak was the launch of Vingage at COMDEX 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since 1993, Chris has been the Art Director and owner of C&K Designs. He is best known for never saying never and consuming incredible volumes of over creamed and sugared coffee.
, Senior Web Designer/Account Executive
Kristin received a BS in Nutrititon from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri and a MS in Nutrition from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida in 1995. From 1995 to 1999, she worked as a Clinical Dietitian/Systems Coordinator for Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. In 1997, Kristin began building websites and managing accounts for several clients with C&K Designs. Kristin has designed and developed websites for most of C&K Designs' largest clients including Real Estate companies and several nutrition related organizations. It may well be that Kristin's greatest assets are her client relationships and ability to rapidly develop new solutions as the Internet continues to rapidly expand and evolve.
, Senior Graphic Designer
Ken received a BFA in Art and Design from Ringling College of Sarasota, Florida, in 1996. He served as multimedia designer and production manager for a local Sarasota design firm from 1996 to 1997. In January 1998 He continued his design and multimedia work as Art Director for Patterson Bach PR Agency. There, he designed for various private companies in the greater Orlando area. In 1999, Ken joined the team at Vingage Corporation as Senior Graphic Designer, then Art Director in Maitland, Florida. Ken was responsible for product design, multimedia sales tools, demonstrations and later took on some maketing and tradeshow design. His work includes award-winning designs of multimedia, websites, corporate collateral materials and annual reports. Ken is a very versatile designer and at his best when faced with seemingly insurmountable chaos.
We also have a wealth of talent from the consulting and freelance pool as projects demand. We take pride in the people we choose and we are fortunate to have such a talented pond to fish.
